The Artbeats Digital Film Library is a new approach to stock footage. Artbeats is a leading provider of royalty-free stock footage for broadcast, desktop video, 3D texture mapping, multimedia and the web. All Artbeats footage is available on on CD-ROM in a QuickTime format for a very reasonable price (Collections range in price from $229 to $699 with an average of 25-30 clips per product). No longer does a user have to pay research fees or royalty reports.
The footage is almost always sourced from 35mm film and only the very best selects are used, saving end users time and money. The clips are delivered as D1 NTSC or PAL resolution QuickTime movies at full frame rates with very mild PhotoJPEG compression, providing quality that rivals uncompressed footage. Subjects include pyrotechnics and other effects, nature, timelapse, backgrounds, aerials, lifestyles, landscapes, animals and more.
